The Lost Community Book Club is back, while
The Lost Community Podcast takes hiatus. This week they've reviewed and compared Stephen King's
Carrie to
Lost. In addition to discussing the Stephen King novel, David chats with another author, Anne Dawson. Anne is the author of
Lost Mind Games, who
I posted an interview with from
The Cranky Fanatic Podcast's Lost Jeopardy edition. This is a great interview with Anne and I must say I'm now tempted to actually go out and but this thing... or order it online since apparently it's only available on Amazon at the moment (Barnes & Noble and Borders get with the times!)
If you aren't planning on reading the book, but are curious as to the significance of
Carrie and how it ties into Lost, then you may find this podcast beneficial. Given the role the book played in the Season 3 opener,
A Tale Of Two Cities, there may be a lot to draw from
Carrie and how it could relate to Juliet (and Walt?) David and Melissa (the podcast hosts) also discuss the TV and film versions of
Carrie.
