"Previously On Lost" Season 4 Lyrics

Previously On Lost, the band I've been blogging about this week, has posted lyrics of their The Tale of Season 4 and the Oceanic Six album on their my space page. Here is a sample (with audio):

How does Penny's dad know of the backup plans Ben had?

the Widmeister always knows what's occurring
whenever there is trouble stirring choppers are a-whiring
and the camouflaged men are conferring

Best Found Friends stick together (through whatever)
Sharing moms and hanging out dead dad's wakes
Best Found Friends stick together (forever)
Let you grab the last piece of surprise birthday cakes (oh those are the best!)

Leading, the way against doctors orders
Mr. Mom and Genghis Khan tell them why Claire wasn't there
the camouflaged men are longing for their quarters

This is the way to enter the station:
Go in through the hole there and go left 20 paces till you see a
Patch of anthuriums in alcove near the north wall.
Reach down with your left hand and activate the elevator that takes you down to the real orchid station!
I'll be posting Part Three of my trip to see Previously On Lost live tomorrow. To listen to Previously On Lost and purchase their new album visit their MySpace page. The live song recorded last Sunday is on their MySpace page as a free download at the moment so make sure to grab it.

Jorge Garcia On Moonlit Water

Jorge Garcia let readers of his blog in on how they created moonlit water in the studio shooting the nighttime raft scenes in the finale.
Here's a cool little behind the scenes thing. The night scene in the raft was shot in studio instead of on water. And we were all thankful for it. But to make the appearance of moonlit water behind our head they rigged this. A large frame with plastic wrap around it. And the grips would shake it to make "waves."

Minor Thing

I've been having some bandwidth issues so if you have problems loading an audio clip be patient, or try again later. Sorry for the inconvenience. I have been doing my best to keep up with the surge in visitors over the past couple weeks due to some of my recent articles, particularly the interview I did with Kris White and the "A Tale Of Two Spoilers" article. Both have drawn a lot of traffic and the heart of the blog, it's audio roots, have suffered. I am doing my best to remedy this (at a cost :s) so stick with me through this one.

Thanks for your patience.

After Lost: There's No Place Like Home (Part 2/3)

Oh boy. This one is probably the best yet. I don't know if I just laughed, or managed to utter "wow" prior to laughing. Either way, I liked it. Now click on the picture and read it.

New "After Lost" Comic

Well, just as I hoped, After Lost has begun tackling older episodes of Lost. For those that don't know, After Lost explores what happens after the "LOST" title screen appears at the end of each episode.

This week the new web comic is exploring what happened after the "LOST" title in the Season 3 episode, Exposé. Click here to read it.

Audibly Lost: A Call For Posters

Happy Memorial Day!

With the hiatus almost here I want to make sure that I have as much coverage of the fan community as possible. So I would really like to bring in more bloggers onto the Audibly Lost team. Coverage of blogs, forums, podcasts and the like is exactly what I'm going to be needing this summer and even next fall as it's hard for me to find time as it is to keep up with the blog.

If you have examples of your writing online please direct me to those posts, or email a sample post, or even ideas of what you think you'd be posting about on the blog. I am looking for a few people so let me know if you are interested by emailing me here.

After Lost

After Lost is a relatively new site that "explores the possibilities of what happens after the very tense cliff-hanger endings of Lost." This is done through a comic of the moments prior to the end of Lost followed by revealing what happens after the "LOST" title pops up at the end. It's a shame we are so near the end of the season as I am really enjoying these. Maybe they will start going back through old episodes during the hiatus.

Check out the comics here.

Spoiled... Unintentionally

There are many blogs about Lost I try and stay on top of. One of them is DocArzt's blog over at DocArzt.com. While I think it's a decent blog, which has a lot of great posters, there is one thing that is really starting to annoy me about it. He has this image gallery on the upper right hand corner of the blog that has thumbnails of promotional stills from upcoming episodes. I never go there to read spoilers, but in the process often get spoiled on something unintentionally (to the point where I am now avoiding the blog until the season ends.)

I think the blog would highly benefit from the removal of the spoiler images from that gallery, and a separation of spoiler blog posts from regular blog posts. For someone who has complained about other people spoiling the show I don't think including thumbnail images to all your posts of spoilers helps at all either, as I'm sure there are many others (like myself) who would like to read the blog without worrying about getting spoiled about the show.

With spoilers apparently flying around about season 4's finale I encourage everyone, especially after what happened last year, to be careful about what they are reading.

Hello World (again)

Well, I am posting as an update to the regular viewers of the site. Yes, believe it or not people actually visit this blog daily....

I've been busy with work, GTAIV, people in my life (those bastards!) and "vacation" .... And will continue to be busy with these things for the forseeable future. I've got some posts planned and hope to be updating the blog here and there more regularly. Thanks for sticking with us (me) and in the mean time I leave you with this, to get a sense of where my head is at the moment:

What's going on?

Well as some of you may have noticed I haven't posted this week. That's because Audibly Lost (me) is on vacation.

We'll be back next week in time for the 2nd episode back from the hiatus. See you then.

DMon Claims He's Dominic Monaghan

A guy named "DMon" over on Lost Theories is claiming he's the one and only Dominic Monaghan. Here's how it started:

Hello everyone my name is Dominic Monaghan and i was an actor on Lost (as you may know already!)

Since leaving Lost i have remained a huge fan of the show. I have searched the internet for a place i can discuss the show with other fans and i think i have found it here! As an actor on the show i rarely knew anymore than the fans about the plot.I have been reading your recent theories and they interest me greatly. I hope to join in with this site and share my ideas with you all.

I look forward to sharing ideas and getting to know you all.

Love and best wishes Dom xx

It's so obviously bullshit that I had to post about it here because users of their forum came up with brilliant creations like this to mock the ridiculousness of this idiot's claims (and of course the title image I've posted "Not DMON's Post"):

In addition to all that you have classic comments like:

That’s right, and I am Naveen Andrews…have been all along. We here at Lost have very lenient contracts that allow us to discuss the show at will with any and everyone. Ask away!

Go explore this idiots shenanigans for yourself here. That's his profile and it will link you to his posts.

DocArzt's Sawyer Figure Sold For $260.88

The Sawyer figure signed by Josh Holloway, placed on ebay by DocArzt, sold today for $260.88. I was predicting it would bring in a bit more, but unfortunately it did not. Still, given the circumstances under which the toy was sold I think it's a good selling price and given that it was signed on-set by Holloway I'd say that's a great deal. Congratulations to the winning bidder and to DocArzt. Hopefully he will have other cool items going up for auction soon.

Audibly Absent

This week I will not be around to do much posting, but fear not as I have already written more than a dozen items that will be appearing daily on the blog this week. :)

The week will inlcude music from the show, more music from Barenaked Hurley, as well as a few podcast updates/reviews for the few shows actually recording during the Lost hiatus (which ends April 24th.) I also have some news coming up about some actors on the show as well as info on the NAB conference regarding Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.

I will still try and post a few things here and there as they come up, but like I said I have a great line up for this week (as I send my computer to Apple to have some problems with it resolved.)

Feel free to email me or post comments about anything note worthy you find, and see you all next week!

DocArzt Under Hard Times

Lost blogger and news-man DocArzt is experiencing some hard times, financially. He's going as far as to eBay a toy he had signed by Josh Holloway that he picked up for his kid last year when visiting the cast and crew of Lost. For DocArzt's sake I hope he can bring in more than the $150 current-bid. My guess is it'll end up at about $300-$350 (the bidding ends the 15th).... Someone help 'ol Arzt out and get bidding on this one. Lord knows if he signed it it'd be earning double after all he's done for Lost fans.

I'll try and report in on how much the final bid went for next week.
