Well as some of you may have noticed I haven't posted this week. That's because Audibly Lost (me) is on vacation.
We'll be back next week in time for the 2nd episode back from the hiatus. See you then.

The Lost Flashbacks: Jack....er Ramble-Giggles-Cast
This week The Lost Flashbacks attempt to pour over Jack. However they fail in this mission due to the lack of Amanda... and the lack of Jack-ness to discuss. Patty joins in, however, and manages to give Dr. Giggles a tarot card reading. Enjoy!:Via The Lost Flashbacks

DMon Claims He's Dominic Monaghan
A guy named "DMon" over on Lost Theories is claiming he's the one and only Dominic Monaghan. Here's how it started:Hello everyone my name is Dominic Monaghan and i was an actor on Lost (as you may know already!)
Since leaving Lost i have remained a huge fan of the show. I have searched the internet for a place i can discuss the show with other fans and i think i have found it here! As an actor on the show i rarely knew anymore than the fans about the plot.I have been reading your recent theories and they interest me greatly. I hope to join in with this site and share my ideas with you all.
I look forward to sharing ideas and getting to know you all.
Love and best wishes Dom xx
It's so obviously bullshit that I had to post about it here because users of their forum came up with brilliant creations like this to mock the ridiculousness of this idiot's claims (and of course the title image I've posted "Not DMON's Post"):

In addition to all that you have classic comments like:That’s right, and I am Naveen Andrews…have been all along. We here at Lost have very lenient contracts that allow us to discuss the show at will with any and everyone. Ask away!
Go explore this idiots shenanigans for yourself here. That's his profile and it will link you to his posts.

New Release Date For Lost Season 3 Soundtrack
Just this week I got an email from the people working on the Season 3 soundtrack of Lost assuring me that the release was still on schedule for April 29th. Apparently someone at Varese didn't get the memo because I got another email this morning with full details on the project and a new release date of May 6th. Needless to say my intuition that the project was being delayed was correct. The email I got this morning also detailed a Michael Giacchino signing event for May 10th, which you can read about over on Varese's site.
Check out more info and the track listing for the Season 3 OST here.

GSPN's Newest 'Lost' Offerings Are On Feeds Now
Cliff and Stephanie return after 3 weeks of no Lost podcasting to bring us a listener feedback episode (which it seems several podcasts have been doing to fill in the hiatus.) There are plenty of emails and callers, and all the typical Cliff/Steph banter you can expect from them. As usual there is a lot of time spent at the head and tail (and even during) the podcast promoting other GSPN podcasts/websites/forums etc. which I find pretty annoying. Of interest to people in the northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area there will be a Lost finale screening organized by GSPN for May 29th's 2-hour finale.
Official Lost Podcast: Video Podcast To Be Released Friday
According to the last Official Lost Podcast this Friday (April 18th) should bring us a video fan-question podcast from the executive producers of Lost. Let's hope that the people who got their questions answered didn't submit really dumb questions as people in these circumstances tend to do. If nothing else I'm hoping for confirmation that Danielle's story didn't die with her (if she's even dead) in Meet Kevin Johnson. I have heard that the podcast has already been recorded so it is too late to submit questions for the video podcast... but not to late to submit questions for the audio podcast. Oh, and still no word from Kris White.

Six questions about Lost's Danielle Rousseau
TV Squad has posted a nice article speculating the fate and purpose of Danielle Rousseau. Here's some of it:Shouldn't Danielle have seen the ambush coming? Rousseau didn't land on the island yesterday; she's fully aware of the Others' potential for evildoing. I find it hard to believe that a woman who (supposedly) survived on the island for sixteen years would walk into an ambush without being suspicious. Even Karl questioned Ben's motives for sending them into the jungle, for crying out loud! I understand that Danielle thought leaving the Barracks was the best way to protect Alex, but why was she so quick to trust Ben, the man who abducted her daughter? Rousseau may be crazy, but she's not stupid. Remember how paranoid she was when Sayid first encountered her? She had traps set up all around her camp and didn't trust anyone. How did this gun-wielding survivor turn into a sitting duck three seasons later?

Darlton NAB Session Info Coming In
Very exciting stuff (minor spoiler warning!):Some highlight's from this morning's Q&A at the National Assn. of Broadcasters confab with "Lost" stewards Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.
We will find out more back story as to why the late Libby was in the same mental hospital with Hurley, prior to the plane crash, and presumably after she gave her boat to Desmond for the race.
Will we at some point catch up with Emma and Zack, the two kids from the tail section group of survivors who were kidnapped by the Others in season 2's "The Other 48 Days."
To the question of whether we'll ever see Katey Sagal's Helen character (Locke's former flame) again, Darlton indicated that they hoped so.
To the question of whether the DeGroots, the hirsute couple who founded the Dharma Initiative, are still alive, Cuse and Lindelof paused a bit and then pressed for more specificity on the time frame of the question. As of where the time line of "Lost" will be when the series returns on April 24, Darlton would only say: "One of them is."
Lindelof let it be known that in a recent episode when one of the castaways (Locke? Hurley? Sawyer? I can't remember offhand) asked Ben if he knew what the island's smoke monster really was and Ben responded that he didn't know -- big lie. "Ben was lying about the smoke monster," Lindelof said.
And once again, Darlton made it clear that they do in fact have a blueprint for the series, stem to stern, and that "the last scene has been in our heads for a long period of time."
More to come from the sesh, which mostly focused on big-picture business issues and production processes, once I transcribe the tape.
So to re-cap here are the major points:
- More info on Libby in the institution with Hurley.
- More of Zach and Emma to come.
- D&C hope to bring "Helen" back at some point.
- One of the DeGroots is still alive as of 4.09.
- Ben was lying when he said he didn't know what the smoke monster was.
- The final scene of the series "has been in our heads for a long period of time."

So now I am calling you out Kris White! I'd love to do an interview with you about your role at ABC as a podcaster and whatever else it is you do for them. The Transmission "HiatusCast"
The Transmission podcast I posted about last week is up. Ryan and Jen take on many Lost theories, but even better the podcast is littered from music by many Lost podcasters and musicians. Enjoy this podcast, as it's one of the few you'll be getting between now and April 24th when Lost returns. As many recent podcasts have done, this one includes some talk about Lost Mind Games (see sidebar) and another interview with Anne Dawson. Also they are having a contest for a free copy of the book.

How To Submit A Question To 'The Official Lost Podcast'
Perhaps you've been asking yourself "How do I get my question answered on The Official Lost Podcast?" Perhaps you have not. If you fall into the latter category then there is something wrong with you or you are not a true Lost fan.1. Pick a unique question. Make sure the information/answer is not already available in articles, other podcasts or interviews/conference panels the producers have conducted.
2. Take care in writing your question. Make it as short as possible and to the point, but also try and add as much of your personality as possible, without being too annoying.
3. Don't submit 1000 questions to the writers. Submit one or two and if you're lucky you may get an answer. Submitting tons of questions may come off as obnoxious to the people at ABC (Kris White?) selecting the podcast questions. Besides, you are probably only going to have one question get answered anyway so you'd probably be better off putting your efforts into that one question, rather than posting tons of them.
4. When you are ready to post your question do so in this forum on abc.com. Who knows, maybe your question will be answered in the remaining 4 or 5 podcasts left for this season. (Note: I have read that the video podcast for April 18th has already been recorded.)
Good luck!

Damon And Carlton To Give NAB Keynote Tomorrow
Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse are giving a keynote at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) conference in Las Vegas tomorrow. Hopefully there will be audio of this popping up soon and maybe there will even be some details about the future of Lost. The keynotes/conferences are always pretty entertaining (as are their podcasts) as these guys have good charisma and know how to work a crowd pretty well. Anyone attending? More "What?" From Hurley
In response to a question about the recent Lost "What?" video, Jorge Garcia had this to say about one of the remaining Season 4 episodes:I've gotten this in a few emails. It's pretty funny. But it came to soon because I just had a doozy of a "what" in something I shot a couple of days ago.

Battle In Seattle Trailer And Michelle Rodriguez Interview
Audibly Absent
This week I will not be around to do much posting, but fear not as I have already written more than a dozen items that will be appearing daily on the blog this week. :)
The week will inlcude music from the show, more music from Barenaked Hurley, as well as a few podcast updates/reviews for the few shows actually recording during the Lost hiatus (which ends April 24th.) I also have some news coming up about some actors on the show as well as info on the NAB conference regarding Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.
I will still try and post a few things here and there as they come up, but like I said I have a great line up for this week (as I send my computer to Apple to have some problems with it resolved.)
Feel free to email me or post comments about anything note worthy you find, and see you all next week!

Jay And Jack Give Us 'Pure Feedback'
Good to hear all the theories these people call in with to let Jay and Jack discuss. Of note, at the head of the podcast, Jay and Jack mention an upcoming TalkShoe podcast and Jack says: "I think we might have a little Daniel--- uh, Danielle, ahh.. debate?"
Now, if you've been following you know that they were planning a live call in with Daniel Dae Kim during their 25-hour podcast but that ended up getting botched by TalkShoe. Could they have been dropping a hint that DDK would be dropping in during this live show? I recall them saying they'd try to make it up to us soon... perhaps this is it. Anyway, enough podcast theories... here's the show:

The Transmission Reviewing 'Lost' Season 4 'So Far'
Ryan and Jen of The Transmission podcast are going to be recording a show catching up on all of Season 4 this weekend:We’re midway through the hiatus, and taking advantage of the break to regroup and reflect on the fourth season of “LOST” to date. (As well as burning our way through our Netflix queue and revisiting other friends like “Battlestar Galactica”!) Jen and I are contemplating another “hiatuscast” to bridge the gap to Episode 4×09, mixing it up with a little “LOST” music, a “LOST” book review, and some filming updates. But of course we’d especially want you to be a part of it. So, please tell us: How do you like the season so far? Favorite episodes? Favorite moments? Any th
